Andrew Jamison (born 1986) is a Northern Irish poet and teacher. His first collection of poetry, ''Happy Hour'', was published by Gallery Press in July 2012.〔(Andrew Jamison | The Gallery Press )〕 He was educated at Down High School before studying English at Queen Mary, University of London. He then studied for a Masters at the University of St Andrews. He now teaches English at Bristol Grammar School. His poetry has been published widely in UK and Irish literary journals, and anthologies such as ''The Salt Book of Younger Poets'' and ''Best British Poetry 2013''. In 2011, he won the Templar Poetry Pamphlet Award for ''The Bus From Belfast'', the same year in which he was chosen as a UK Young Artist, and took part in the Rome Biennale. His Northern Ireland Arts Council awards include The New York Residency (2011) and the ACES Award (2012).
